Making your e-liquid last longer during COVID-19

make e liquid last longer

Making your e-liquids last longer when you’re running low

The Coronavirus pandemic has shut down much of the world including of course, our go-to retail vape shops. This has caused some supply issues, not excluding the ease of getting our hands on our favourite e-liquids. I work in a warehouse surrounded by thousands of bottles of e-liquids each day and yet I am still very good at running out of e-liquid when I’m not at work. I have on many occasions searched like a mad woman in my car and house looking for a bottle of e-liquid in any flavour. Secretly hoping to find one of my favorites like Cool Peppermint or Swede-ish Berries. So as you can imagine I have become very good at stretching out my last bottle of e-liquid. Since I’m sure some of you may be in the same boat now with the temporary closure of vape shops I thought I would share a few tips on how to make your e-liquid last while you’re waiting on your online order to arrive.

Vaping Exonerated! CDC “Strongly Links” Vitamin E Acetate to Vaping Epidemic

Vitamin E Acetate Molecule

The Vindication of Vaping

The Center for Disease Control has at last exonerated the vaping community. In September, the CDC issued a comprehensive warning about the risks of all vaping products. Despite suggestions from other sources that nicotine vaping was not the problem, the CDC and various news outlets instilled fear in all individuals who vape nicotine.

The Early Suspicions

As early as September 19th, 2019, we reported that the outbreak of lung issues related to vaping was likely due to Vitamin E acetate, and had no connection with traditional nicotine e-liquid vaping products. Five months later, the CDC finally concurs. Regrettably, major news outlets across North America propagated the initial story, indiscriminately associating nicotine vapes with illicit THC-infused vapes sold on the street or in the black market.

Why Canada Vapes would NEVER target children

Never target childern

I’m really at a loss here. I just reviewed a Canadian Lung Association commercial against vaping. In it, it shows an ice cream truck, pulling up to what appears to be a neighbourhood in Toronto, selling ice cream. After describing all the flavours for sale such as bubblegum, vanilla, and other candy flavours, they hand … Read more

Nova Scotia has become the third province to suggest restricting vaping Products in the province. Ontario and  British Columbia have both proposed provincial regulations on vaping, but Nova Scotia’s proposed bans are, by far, the most restrictive in Canada.

The ban is set to come into place on April 1, 2020, and it will include the ban of “any flavours of the liquid”. The only available e-liquid and vaping products in Nova Scotia will be tobacco and bland flavour.

P.E.I. Vaping bill to increase age from 19 to 21, and ban e-liquid flavours.

P.E.I. Vaping bill to increase age from 19 to 21

PC MLA, Cory Deagle, passed the second reading of a private member’s P.E.I. The vaping bill would restrict where vaping products can be sold, would ban certain flavours, and would also raise the legal age to buy tobacco and e-cigarettes from 19 to 21.

Deagle stated: “These substances, you become addicted to nicotine. In some cases, there is four or five, 20 times the amount of nicotine and e-cigarette than there is in a regular cigarette.”

The second reading vote was unanimous, with all parties in support of passing the bill. There is also discussion about the possibility of adding taxes when this P.E.I. vaping bill is introduced in the spring.

The P.E.I. Vaping bill also addresses where vape products can be sold – indicating they could only be sold in a “tobacconist shop”.
